This Shopify bundle app FAQ answers the questions merchants ask before and after installing Elite Bundle Builder. Each answer is short and true to how the app works today. If yours is missing, in-app chat replies in about 10 minutes during IST business hours.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes, through the Elite Embed Core app embed, which you turn on in the theme editor under App embeds. A build your own bundle can replace the product page or live on a dedicated page, and a multi-option bundle renders inside the product page above your theme's Add to cart button. Preview on your live theme before setting a bundle active, especially after a theme change. The getting started guide shows the setup.

Does it change my existing products?

No. Each bundle gets its own unlisted Shopify product to hold the bundle, and you edit that product's name, media, description and SEO in Shopify as usual. The products that appear inside the bundle are untouched; they are only referenced by the steps or options.

How do discounts apply?

At checkout, through Shopify Functions. You set tiers by item count or order total, calculated as percentage off, fixed amount off, a fixed bundle price, or an amount off per item, and the best matching tier is applied to the bundle line. Shoppers never enter a code. The bundle discounts page has examples.

What does the cart look like?

One bundle line that lists the picked items. A cart transform groups them, so the shopper sees a single bundle rather than a scatter of products. The order shows the same grouping in Shopify.

How is inventory handled?

Inventory is tracked on the real products and variants. When a shopper adds a bundle, each picked item draws from its own stock. Sold-out products show as sold out and cannot be added, or you can hide them. In a multi-option bundle, if every choice in an option is unavailable the bundle cannot be completed until stock returns.

What about refunds and returns?

Bundle orders are normal Shopify orders, so refunds and returns are handled in Shopify admin the way you handle them today. The bundle line lists the individual items, so you can see what was in the box.

Can I translate the storefront texts?

Yes. Every storefront string, from step titles to the discount message and button labels, is a translatable text edited in the app. Texts are store level, so one translation pass covers every bundle. The admin itself is available in five languages: English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

Does it work with Shopify POS?

The bundle builder renders on your online storefront, and the discount and cart grouping run in online checkout. It is not built as a POS app. If you need bundles at the till, ask in-app chat about your setup before you rely on it.

Does it work on Shopify Plus?

Yes. Elite Bundle Builder is a public App Store app, so it installs on Plus stores the same way as on any other plan. Nothing in the app is gated by plan.

Can I customise the design?

Yes, per bundle. Pick a template (landing page or product page widget), then adjust the banner, product cards, variant pickers (label, swatch or dropdown with images or colours), steps (progress, tabs or stacked), bundle cart (slots, rows, drawer), discount display (progress bar, segmented or box) and branding tokens (colours, radius, card size, image ratio), with a live preview. Custom CSS is store level for anything else. The features page lists every control.

Can I show extra product info on the cards?

Yes. Add product metafields in Config and show each as a badge on the image, a line under the price, or a text block. Text, number, date, URL and colour types work, including lists. The metafield definition needs storefront access turned on in Shopify.

Is it really free?

Yes. One plan, every feature, unlimited bundles and orders, no trial, no card. The pricing page has the table and the reason.

Can I migrate from another bundle app?

There is no import tool, so you recreate each bundle in the editor: steps or options, rules, tiers and design. Keep the new bundle unlisted, test the discount at checkout on your live theme, then set it active and retire the old bundle so two apps are not discounting the same items. Can I add custom code?

Yes, two ways. Store-wide custom CSS covers styling beyond the design controls. For a fully custom UI, window.eliteBundle.sdk exposes bundle state and actions and six elite:byob:* events fire as the shopper builds. Start with the SDK getting started guide.

What kinds of bundles can I not make yet?

Pre-curated fixed bundles, volume breaks on single products and subscription bundles are not available. They are marked coming soon in the app. What you can make is a build your own bundle or a multi-option bundle.

My discount is not showing. What do I check?

Confirm tiers are set in Offer, that the bundle was added from the bundle page rather than as loose products, and that you are looking at checkout rather than the product page. Then check the settings page for a discount service issue. The troubleshooting guide walks through each one.

How do I get started?

Install the app, turn on the app embed, create a bundle and set it active. The how it works page covers the five steps.
